By Amberia Shoemaker
Falling in love with you took no time,
We laughed and played like children.
And made catchphrases to make our names rhyme.
When I left, my world collapsed.
I held it inside, desperate to feel the void.
The uniform seemed to help curve the craze
If I had known the weight of your absence
I would have counted the days.
Luckily, I am still your number one.
I’ll love you forever.
Even if I must read our story from a notebook,
I hope for you, it was fun.
